What are the orders Lieutenant Commander Eoika?
He wanted to get away from all this, away from leading; away from what he was ordered to do. Eoika has always considered himself as a soldier of the alliance, he never felt that he was a leader. He bowed before Aelthalas, the Silverwing Officer in Darnassus and requested to take the night off.
Stunned at what she just heard, she raised her elvish fingers to her chin and pondered for a moment. "Well..." she paused for a moment in an effort to find words, "Our Elite team has been able to push the horde back lately... I have no problem with you taking the night off, however..." The rest his superior was saying became a jumbled a mess in his head. He knew with her okay that he could. He called his trusty spotted tiger mount, the very same one that has served him since he was first able to ride and sped off towards Astranaar.
Eoika loved Astranaar, he could not get away from it. From its stunning mirror like moat to the towering trees that just never seemed to end. Even the bright lights that the wisps would emit as you walked by. You could hear everything from this silent place, the deers quietly munching away at the grass, the squirrels running about collecting acorns and nuts, the beautiful songs that the Wisps recited. He could not remember as to why he left this place, this paradise that he had called home for so long. Then it hit him, the sound of metal striking wood, the beating of work drums, the sounds of blaziers errupting. The smell of buring wood was in the air and reminded him that the horde was near by.
Astranaar was on the very front of the war in Kalimdor, threatening it and its family with fire, metal and Destruction. He walked by the hunter hall letting out a sigh of relief that everything is still as he remembered it, nothing had seem to change. He began to walk south towards the towards the bridge, looking around enjoying the eye candy that he had missed so much, but something caused him to stop. A floating light that the wisps are responsible for. He stopped his movements and began to follow it with his eyes. It crept closer, slowly to his eyes. Then something abnormal that he noticed, the light began to alter, it quickly flashed a bright red, almost recognizing who it was near. It pulsated around Eoika's head, circling around it as the red light got brighter, beating quicker. Finally the blinking red light ended before Eoika's eyes the light seeming to die out changing from its bright red to the darkest black he has ever whitnessed. It began to slowly fall back towards the ground, or so it seemed. It emitted a yellow as bright as his eyes and exploded right before his face. He turned his head to the side and covered his eyes feeling a slight daze come over his head he peak out of his eyes to make sure his sight was still intaact.
His eyes opened and everything was how it was, just slightly different. Everything that was Astranaar was covered in a golden shade, Astranaar seemed to have received a new paint job and nothing more. He stopped for a moment to look around, to whitness if everything was gold. Something else cought his eye however, a Night Elf Warrior with purple hair, spiked slightly up and mostly to the back, sword and shield unsheathed he nervously walked up to Eoika completely ignoring him, gazing his way out over the bridge. Eoika stepped back and realized what the young warrior saw, the Horde was here and in force.
