Written by Tobius:
None now would remember the Society of Daedalus which has for some time been nothing more than whispered myth. None would remember the even older tales of the Halls of Invictus their celebrated home and holy temple to the patron saint Daedalus. With the last great coming of the legion the society's finest soilders lead by Tobius Maynar went out to meet the threat and were thusly cut down in the long and grueling campaigns that insued. Their lofty goals of thwarting the attemtps of the Brotherhood of Icarus, while successful, left them vulnerable and weak.
The time has come though, once again for the Society to take flight as the phoenix, and rise from its ashes. The threat looms in the darkness. The taint is on the land, and the fallen prodigy yet again stirs in his tomb. Icarus will not be stopped so easily. The son, the first pupil, is wise and powerful. Only the chosen of the father, the teacher, have the knowledge to meet him and protect the peoples of Azeroth.
High Templar Tobius steps aside to allow the crowning of a new High Templar, to be found in a most unusal place. Jericko of the dwarven kingdom of Ironforge, will remake what was undone by the wicked. He will reforge that which has been wraught asunder. The Society of Daedalus shall live once more.
Be weary my brothers, for the storm will soon be upon us.

And as the right hand of Daedalus is melded within the burning embers of the great forge, so to shall the left hand be remade. We shall be the eyes and ears, the seekers of the truth and the doers of the deeds. The daggers blades keen, the step silent, and the vengance swift.

< Dug from the depths of the Halls of Invictus, the Myth that started it all>
His story is not just His but it is of His son as well Here is the Tale of Daedalus and Icarus
Daedalus was not a simple man. He was a gift of sorts, gifted with gnosis and understanding. Wisdom was breathed into him from the moment he breathed in his first breath of air. And his wisdom would be a blessing to all of us in his later days and beyond. Never let it be said that Daedalus was a simple man.
Daedalus was a kind man. His warm heart and demeanor touched more than just the people around him. His influence over others could be felt several places removed from him - a kind word would brighten the day of a servant, who in turn would pass that good cheer along to yet another. His kindness and decency was infectious. Let it always be known he was a good man.
Daedalus was not alone. He knew a lady named Sophia through her his son was born to him. Icarus was his name and together there was happiness of the likes he had never known. All around him knew this happiness and a peaceful calm permeated the region for many years. It will always be said that Daedalus was never alone.
Daedalus was wise and learned. He developed many new forms of the magical arts - forms that would endure the ages. Many of these arts were Illuminated and bathed in the glory of the Light, others were the province of the demon callers, and only through his purity and uncorruptible wisdom was he able to persevere. Daedalus will always be remembered for being wise and learned.
Icarus was not his father. He was wise, and he was learned and he was kind and he was not simple. He lacked experience and he lacked the Illuminated divine spark that his father possessed. And in that absence was planted a seed of despair that would eventually blossom into a seed of ambition. It is written that Icarus was not his father.
Icarus was a thief. Icarus stole the forbidden wisdom from his father. He stole it away and intended to show his father that he too was blessed by the Illuminated spirit and that he too possessed the uncorruptable wisdom. In this act, Icarus sealed his fate. His hands are seared, for Icarus was a thief.
Father and Son fought. When his treachery was revealed Icarus opposed his father's desire to return the wisdom to him, to retire such terrible knowledge and never let it loose upon the world. Icarus was drunk with power, however and thought to make himself in the image of his father. And so the battle raged. For what can be best described as an age, father and son fought.
Icarus Fell. Daedalus smote Icarus and shed his tears as his son plummeted from the heavens. A smoking crater was all that remained and Icarus was laid to waste in the bowels of the earth. It is there that he plotted and schemed and conived. It is there that he dwells to this day and the day forever after. Icarus Fell.
